The West Art Bloc Party

This event will be rain or shine! In the case of extreme weather, we will make announcements accordingly. Follow our Instagram at @westartlanc for the most up-to-date information.

The stretch of Buchanan Ave from College Ave to S West End will be closed starting at 7:30 AM. Recommended spots for parking include College Ave and Race Ave. Walking is always recommended as well!

The Bloc Party will be taking place from 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM!

How We Communicate

• Main Stage Announcements: Real-time instructions will be broadcast over the main stage PA system.
• Social Media Updates: Check our official Instagram and Facebook pages for live status updates and official guidance.
• On-Site Staff: Look for event staff and security personnel for direct assistance.

Weather, Structural, & Security Threats

• Severe Weather: In the event of lightning, high winds, or severe storms, seek immediate shelter in indoor areas or personal vehicles.
• Active Threats & Collapses: Follow the instructions of emergency personnel and staff immediately. Move calmly toward the nearest perimeter exit.

Key On-Site Locations:

• First Aid Station: Located near the main entrance/info booth for minor injuries and medical needs.
• Lost Children & Items: Report to the main welcome booths to reconnect with missing party members or locate lost property.
• Emergency Exits: Marked within the West Art building; keep all exit pathways clear of chairs and personal gear.

General Safety Guidelines:

• See Something, Say Something: Report suspicious activity or hazards to any staff member or security officer immediately.
• Stay Calm: Walk, do not run, during an evacuation to ensure everyone leaves the area safely.
