These are gatherings & workshops led by members of the community. From film club to chess club, these are the weekly rituals that turn strangers into regulars — and regulars into friends.
Chess Club
All levels (and ages) welcome. Thinkers, tinkerers, & quietly competitive unite. We've got the boards & the booze, all you have to do is show up with the brains.
Kids Art Club
A creative space for young artists (Ages 2-6) to explore color, texture, and imagination through mixed-media projects. From collage to clay, each week offers a new way to experiment, express, and make a beautiful mess.
Gleaners Film Club
Weekly visions in the dark — chasing the sublime, the sensory, the melancholic, the enraging. We orbit international art house and experimental cinema, but we drift where curiosity leads. Screenings are unannounced, surrender to the unknown & be transfigured.
Kindermusik
The Kindermusik class is a fun, early-childhood music and movement session where preschool-aged children (2-6 yrs) and their caregivers participate together in singing, dancing, instrument play, circle games, and creative play that emphasize experiential learning, social-emotional skills, listening, thinking, and joyful community interaction. These sample classes, led by licensed Kindermusik educator, Fiona Gillespie, offer a relaxed, adaptive environment with props and playful activities designed to nurture creativity, confidence, coordination, and connection through shared music-making.
